Alpha Fire Ltd were contracted to deliver all fire stopping and compartmentation works across two new ultra-secure data centre campuses for a repeat client. The combined development comprises twelve individual data halls: a 55 MW campus with six data halls and a 51 MW complex with a further six, running alongside one another.

The scale, programme compression and concurrent trade density demand the highest standards of coordination. Every penetration, every compartment line and every document is tracked as part of the Golden Thread record delivered on completion.

Alpha Fire Ltd were engaged by the main contractor to deliver PFP works across the regeneration programme of one of the largest residential portfolios in the North West, a housing stock of over 19,000 properties being systematically brought up to current fire safety standards.

The scope covered surveys, fire stopping to service penetrations, full compartmentation remediation and the installation of cavity barriers and fire-rated access hatches. Every intervention is delivered to a documented programme with full photographic records.

A new roof and complete refurbishment of a historic landmark on the seafront became necessary following the discovery of crumble-risk concrete in the existing structure. Alpha Fire Ltd provided advice and a supply-and-fit service for all fire stopping and compartmentation works.

The full scope was carried out while the venue remained open to guests throughout. Phased working, out-of-hours attendance where needed, minimal disruption. The £10,000 package value understates the complexity: working around live operations always does.

A 500-bed, 9,000 sqft student accommodation block in north Bristol (406 ensuite cluster rooms and 94 self-contained studios) required a full PFP refurbishment as part of a wider compliance programme. Alpha Fire Ltd were engaged by a repeat client to deliver the works.

The programme ran through a tenancy surrender scheme, allowing works to proceed while maintaining a positive living environment for remaining residents. Close coordination with the building operator, careful phasing, high standards of daily site discipline throughout.

Alpha Fire Ltd delivered all fire stopping and compartmentation works to two sets of two-storey offices within a new distribution warehouse on the outskirts of the city for a repeat client.

Within three weeks of initial Cat A handover, we were re-employed by the same client to carry out the equivalent packages for the Cat B fit-out. That seamless Cat A → Cat B re-mobilisation pattern is something we've built our programme management around.

Alpha Fire Ltd were contracted to carry out shot blasting, priming, intumescent painting and top sealing to the existing supporting steelwork of a Grade II listed structure in South Yorkshire. Every intervention had to be designed and executed with sensitivity to the listed fabric.

Conditions were particularly challenging due to a canal running directly underneath the structure. The Golden Thread process was maintained throughout, with DFT checks recorded on every application.
